CooperVision’s exclusive Aquaform Technology creates a naturally hydrophilic contact lens. In fact, CooperVision® Avaira® and Avaira Toric are the monthly silicone hydrogel lenses that are naturally wettable for comfort your patients can rely on day after day.

Aquaform Technology uses longer siloxane chains, so the lens requires less silicone to achieve high levels of oxygen transmissibility. It also creates charged areas within the lens material that form hydrogen bonds with water molecules. This locks the water into the lens to aid in comfort and minimise deposits.

 *Warning: UV-absorbing contact lenses are not substitutes for protective UV-absorbing eyewear, such as UV-absorbing goggles or sunglasses, as they do not completely cover the eye and surrounding area. Patients should continue to use UV-absorbing eyewear as directed.
